As I’m an editorial brand creative, photographer, and voice actor who loves work that surprises me—stuff that’s smart, weird, emotional, or just plain bold. If it makes me laugh out loud or mutter “damn” under my breath, it’s doing something right. I’m not here for safe or forgettable. Bring the guts, not the gloss. How many years have you been a judge?

How many years have you been a judge?

5+ years

What excited you about judging for the Telly Awards?

Getting a peak into the minds of other creatives. You never know when one idea will spark another.

What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

I worked for TV Guide in a tiny photo archive. I thought I hit the big leagues. But you know what? The networking I did from that tiny blue room led me to meet some of the best, most genuine people, who really wanted to see you land your next big gig. Even if it were 20 years later. I’m still in touch with a bunch of them!

What project are you most proud to have worked on?

There are two:
– I pitched a branded integration idea called “Stories of the Division” for The Division x Ubisoft. I photographed each ‘Division’ Agent and managed the writer for each story. It was beautiful.

– Then I learned how to speak ‘Swedish Chef’ after pitching a branded integration for Walmart x The Muppets’ Movie. I wrote the script and made mini Swedish Chef food crafts live on camera with the Swedish Chef himself! The video appeared on Walmart TV walls nationwide throughout the duration of the campaign.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

What will AI do? And to whom?

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

I love when I first get a brief. It’s like getting candy in the mail! It’s my role to interpret them and see the best way forward. But when you first see your work in the wild, it’s THE BEST.

What initiatives or projects are you working on now that excite you?

It’s a passion project — a book in collaboration with my dog. I’ve had to sign an NDA.
