How many years have you been a judge?

1-3

What excited you about judging for the Telly Awards?

What excited me most was the Telly Awards’ incredible breadth of work and its high standard of excellence. I’m honored to be part of something that celebrates creativity across so many formats, and it’s always fun to review innovative work that falls outside of my day-to-day role.

What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

My first job was working as a freelance video editor at an advertising agency in Philadelphia. It taught me the value of methodical organization, diverse collaboration, and continuous learning. It also showed me how fun and rewarding it could be to pursue a career in the creative space.

What do you look for to determine excellence in video?

Excellence in video starts with strong storytelling. I look for high production value, great pacing, and visuals that immediately draw you in. The best videos capture attention in the first few seconds, hold it until the end, and leave you thinking about them the next day.

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

As the VP of Client Services at Shareability, I lead teams that blend entertainment, strategy, and production. We work on projects where creativity and data intersect to make marketing that’s entertaining, effective, and truly connects with people. I love the people, the process, and the evolution of it all.

Do you have any specific practices you lean on to spark creativity?

I find clarity in motion. Get outside and go for a walk – that helps me slow down, clear my head, and think deeply. I’m also inspired by exploring art, music, or film that’s outside my comfort zone. It helps to spark new ideas.

What inspired you to pursue your career path?

A love of movies inspired me to pursue a career in the creative space. That passion began in high school film class, thanks to an amazing teacher, and grew even stronger in college when I had the chance to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

In your experience, what is a significant change you are seeing happen in the video, television, and/or film industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?

The fragmented and crowded media landscape makes it difficult for a story to break through the noise and resonate with a wide audience. The key to navigating this is to find and leverage existing communities, balancing data-driven insights with creative instinct. Producing content in multiple formats also increases the chances of your story connecting with the right audience at the right moment.
