What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

My first job in the industry was in production, doing grip work and assistant directing. It was very hands-on and gave me a deep appreciation for the entire filmmaking process, from the technical setup to the collaboration on set. That experience taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of details, which I still carry into my creative work today.

What project are you most proud to have worked on?

One project I’m especially proud of is a personal work, a mock ad for the American Express Platinum card, where I pushed myself creatively and treated it like a real campaign to brush up my skills. On the client side, I’m proud of the recent DBS Multiplier animation where we used generative AI to bring a playful rabbit to life, dancing and eating a carrot. Both projects are what I can think of right now which I am most proud of.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

The most challenging part is balancing creativity with deadlines, you always want to push ideas further, but time is limited. At the same time, with new technology like generative AI, the challenge is making sure the tools serve the idea, not the other way round.
