I’m 33 years old, I developed my career in the most important tv channels and newspapers in Argentina, and I’m now taking my first steps here in the United States. What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

Producer. It taught me to persevere and expand my contact list.

What project are you most proud to have worked on?

My own interview cycle in La Nacion, one of the most important sites in Argentina.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

Know new people, learn from them and listen to their stories.

What do you look for to determine excellence in video?

I consider that the most important thing is the content, the message that is transmitted. In the cases of series and movies, the scripts and performances mainly.

How do you unwind from work mode?

Reading novels.

Do you have any specific practices you lean on to fuel your creativity?

Brainstorming with creative friends and vision boards.

When did you know that this career is what you wanted to do?

When I was 10 years old I used to love listening to the radio and reading books. I always love the world of communication.

What inspired you to join the field and create the kind of work you do?

Discover new artist, read interesting articles, listen to music, watch movies, series and podcast.

In your experience, what is a significant change happening in the video and television industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?

I think the audiovisual industry is going through a crisis. Everything is brief. The forms of consumption changed and as the creator of Netflix said, everyone competes for time, which is the greatest value.

What’s a work tool you use every day and what’s one that is obsolete that you wish still existed?

Two tools that I use every day: mail and CapCut. I missed my discman to listen to my favourites albums.

Im a reporter on Despierta America, Univision. I love interviewing people with interesting life stories and artists who are just starting their journey.
