How many years have you been a judge?

This is my first year!

What excited you about judging for the Telly Awards?

What excites me most about judging for the Telly Awards is the opportunity to experience the intersection of creativity, technology, and storytelling at a global scale. As an individual deeply involved in media domain innovation and AI-driven content strategy, I am inspired by how creators push boundaries to connect with audiences in new and meaningful ways.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

Balancing rapid technological disruption with creative integrity. Innovations like AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making are transforming how content is produced, distributed, and monetized, but they also raise questions about originality, ethics, and human expression.

What do you look for to determine excellence in video?

I look for three key elements: storytelling impact, technical mastery, and emotional resonance.

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

As Senior Vice President of IT and Strategic Planning at PALNAR, I lead global initiatives that blend technology, data, and creativity to drive digital transformation in the media and entertainment industry. My role involves building intelligent dashboards, AI-driven analytics, and automation platforms that help major media clients optimize content performance, audience engagement, and operational efficiency.

What I love most about my job is seeing how AI and technology help creators, producers, and executives make smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions—and how these tools contribute to making human life better.

What initiatives or projects are you working on now that excite you?

Right now, I am leading several initiatives that sit at the cutting edge of media technology and AI innovation. One that particularly excites me is our AI-powered Strategic Control Tower, a real-time analytics platform that helps media networks optimize content yield, audience engagement, and revenue performance.

In your experience, what is a significant change you are seeing happen in the video, television, and/or film industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?

One of the most significant changes reshaping the video, television, and film industry is the rise of AI-driven intelligence across the content lifecycle—from ideation and production to distribution and audience engagement. We’re seeing AI transform music creation, character development, and even how human emotions are visualized on screen. The key to navigating this shift is understanding that AI is a powerful amplifier of human creativity, not a replacement for it.
