GREGORY F SCHIMIZZI
Motion Picture and TV Producer, Gregory F. Schimizzi of East Hampton is Chairman and Co-Founder of VIDEO VOICE, INC. a NY Corporation and has to his credit over 250 motion pictures. Although he began his career as a Counseling Psychologist for the Veterans Administration, in 1977 together with his brother Ernie helped start Video Voice, Inc., that is still in operation today. He is a graduate of New York University and holds graduate degrees in Psychology and was an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University and New York University teaching courses in the Business of Film and Television. 

In 1976, he co-authored with his brother a scholarly book entitled: “SEPTEMBER 11th, 1776, America’s First Attempt At Peace” which brings to light an important and little know event in American Revolutionary history. While college students the Schimizzi Brothers invented a device for automobiles. They received a U.S. patent #3,740,980 . The device was placed into production by Chrysler. 

In 1994 Video Voice, Inc., acquired the FCC license to established WVVH-TV the first commercial television station broadcasting from Eastern Long Island. WVVH-TV broadcasts 24 hours daily of programming from studios in East Hampton New York. WVVH-TV’s coverage now reaches the New York Tri State area on FiOS Channel 14, Cablevision 78 (Eastern Long Island), and HDTV channel 18 Available Roku world-wide. In 2004 WVVH-TV became available to viewers world-wide with a proprietary web stream system www.wvvh.com

Since WVVH-TV signed on the air in 1994 it has been honored with numerous awards in broadcasting for its outstanding original programs. WVVH-TV is the Official TV Station for the Hampton Classic Horse Show, Hamptons International Film Festival, New York Auto Show, New York Times Travel Show. The station was also awarded Best Children’s Series from the New York State Broadcasters Association and has received numerous Emmy nominations for its documentaries. Greg and his brother Ernie have been inducted into the NYS Broadcasters “Hall of Fame”

Greg has proudly served as a Commissioner of Suffolk County Film & Television Commission for over 15 years.

Gregory is married to Francine and has two sons Joseph who works with SONY Corp and Gregory who is a freelance photographer.
