Line Producer and Video Producer based in Los Angeles, bringing over a decade of hands-on production experience from Ukraine to the US market. Originally relocating due to the war, I’ve channeled that resilience and adaptivity into managing everything from high-volume vertical micro-dramas to premium commercials and digital events. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) under my belt, I bridge creative cinematic storytelling with laser-focused logistical execution — cutting production costs without sacrificing quality. Today, I build and lead cross-functional crews in LA, keeping aggressive shooting schedules tight and storytelling sharp.
How many years have you been a judge?
1-3
What are your responsibilities in your current role and what do you love most about your job?
As a Line Producer, I handle the operational heartbeat of production: budget development, crew hiring, location logistics, and daily shooting schedules. In the fast-paced vertical micro-drama space, my main responsibility is keeping high-volume shoots moving smoothly on tight timelines without sacrificing cinematic quality.
What I love most about the job is the problem-solving and the collective energy of a crew. Taking a complex, fast-moving logistical puzzle and executing it seamlessly alongside a talented team to bring a visual story to life is incredibly rewarding.
What inspired you to pursue your career path?
I didn’t grow up with industry connections or easy shortcuts, so every milestone in my career has been something I’ve had to fight for. What drives me is that irreplaceable feeling on set when a complex production clicks into place, execution flows seamlessly, and real creative magic happens. Reaching the finish line and handing over a project that started as just a rough plan is a high like no other. That combination of raw creative energy and the sheer thrill of building something from scratch is why I do what I do.
What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?
My entry into the industry was as a Production Manager on a large-scale fashion campaign for a prominent folk fashion house in Ukraine. It was a visually ambitious project with substantial budgets, stunning production design, and incredible cinematography. That experience taught me early on how collective human effort, precise coordination, and passion can capture a fleeting moment and turn it into a timeless piece of art. It instantly hooked me on the power of visual storytelling.
What do you look for to determine excellence in video?
Excellence in video is where flawless logistical execution meets high-end cinematic craft — when light, production design, and pacing align so perfectly that a simple story becomes a timeless visual experience.
What initiatives or projects are you working on now that excite you?
I’m currently launching a passion project with my partners—a music-driven YouTube series that captures artists in their element. We combine live, intimate studio performances with deep-dive interviews and run-and-gun lifestyle coverage of their daily routines.
What excites me most about this initiative is the creative freedom and authentic storytelling. Coming from fast-paced vertical series and high-volume commercial sets, this project allows us to lean heavily into raw aesthetic choices, organic artist connection, and high-end visual direction—building an engaging universe around independent music culture from the ground up.
Tell us about a moment of recognition that had an effect on you – whether personal or official? What does recognition mean to you and why is it important in our industry?
Standing on stage with an award in my hands for the first time was a pivotal moment where abstract hard work transformed into tangible validation. Holding that trophy for a project my company delivered was deeply moving—and in that instant, it clicked: the long hours, intense logistics, and high-stakes decisions created real, recognized value for people.
Do you have any specific practices you lean on to spark creativity?
The ultimate way for me to spark creativity is total sensory immersion: throwing on a pair of noise-canceling headphones, turning up my favorite tracks, and locking into a dark, distraction-free space illuminated only by styled accent lighting or candles.
What excites you about judging for the Telly Awards?
The film and TV industry is undergoing a total paradigm shift driven by the explosion of vertical micro-dramas, aggressive AI integration, and audience fatigue toward traditional $200M+ blockbusters.
