What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?
M-1 Studios may be small, but we’re mighty. We pour our all into every project, regardless of budget or scale. Most importantly, we go above and beyond to make every client feel valued, a level of service you won’t find at every agency!
Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?
I won this Telly as part of the celebratory Harvest Moon Ball video series for Henry Ford Hospital Wyandotte, with each video honoring one recipient. It’s always a joy to create such emotional stories, especially when they’re brought to life through heartfelt testimonials.
What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?
While prioritizing this project, I was completely swamped with others. I brought in Kate, a remote team member in Atlanta, to help with other videos in the series. Coordinating footage across state lines, ensuring visual consistency, and delivering everything at lightning speed was no small feat. A lot of extra long nights. There were definitely some stressful, tear-filled moments getting this video across the finish line!
Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.
Directly from the client: “Everyone loves it and is crying over it.” Drawing out strong emotional responses always brings a smile to my face and makes the work worthwhile!
