Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?

Our Telly Award–winning piece was inspired by the global excitement around The White Lotus Season 3, which was filmed in Thailand. We recognized the series as a cultural phenomenon and a powerful opportunity to spotlight Thailand’s breathtaking destinations to a global audience.

To bring this to life, our team created an immersive VR 360 video experience that allowed viewers to step into the world of the show. We filmed across nearly all the same locations featured in The White Lotus, so audiences could explore Thailand the way the characters did, from walking through resorts, serene beaches, and vibrant cultural landmarks.

The result was more than just a travel video, it was a strategic blend of pop culture and destination marketing. By connecting Thailand’s cinematic backdrop to an award-winning VR experience, we invited travelers to not just watch the story unfold, but to live it themselves.

What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?

That we got to do this in collaboration with HBO’s The White Lotus.

Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?

Always think about the end emotion you want people to feel from your work first.

Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?

The morning of the shoot, we had to film at the peak of Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park, which you can reach by hiking a steep trail up to the top. The view from the summit was absolutely stunning, but with my fear of heights, I couldn’t shake the nerves. I kept holding onto the safety rope and hesitated to get too close to the edge, which had the crew wondering why I was so tense.

In the end, it became a funny story—we captured the footage we needed, and that scene ended up being one of the most rewatched moments in our video story.

Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.

Everyone was excited especially when the show started airing.
