Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?

About 3 years ago now we were called into a meeting with Steve Groeper and his internal marketing team at All U Need Pest Control. They had an idea that Steve had been thinking about for a few years. When we got together and he shared his concept with us we knew we could execute. We went into screen writing to flesh out the concept and make it ready for primetime. When working on a project like we did with All U Need Pre-Production is critical.

What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?

Our teams came together extremely well. Lots of moving parts made this complicated but everyone across the production pulled there weight. This is not a one man industry. To get great work requires a great team. because of that we were able to deliver an impactful and award winning ad for our client.

Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?

Work with purpose. Don’t undercut yourself or your competition. Know your value and what you bring to your clients.

Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?

We had a fun story about a B film scream queen, Alexa Baca, teaching young Camden, how to really make that scream work for our story. It was a great moment that had the neighbors questioning if they had just heard a double homicide.

Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.

I still get to this day folks that love the effect of the rat on Camden. For some reason that shot grabbed the most attention.
