Tell us a bit about your organization and what your specialty is in the film and video space.

I’ve been a producer/creator/maker for over 30 years in the film and TV industry. Formally trained as a puppeteer and creature FX maker, my skill set has expanded beyond just creating stuff for in front of the camera. I am also an accomplished editor, compositor, animator and publisher.

What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?

Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?

“Fernsby’s Cryptid Critter Control” was an idea that I’ve had brewing in the back of my brain for a long time. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to produce 8 episodes of the show.

What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?

I’m most proud of the fact that I was able to put the entire show together with a handful of very talented and patient people. The biggest challenge, even with a fantastic small team helping during filming, was that the bulk of the pre- and post-production was entirely up to me. With perseverance and patience from my wife, I managed to get the production finished in 8 months.

Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?

If you have an idea, no matter how odd it may be, put it out there. We all have more tools at our disposal that can help us create our art today than when I started working in this industry almost 4 decades ago. You have an entire production studio in your pocket! Use it!

Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?

With the budget restraints we had, we ended up filming the bulk of the episodes in my living room and a friend’s garage.

Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.

The best response I received for this work was the recognition from the Telly Awards!
