Tell us a bit about your organization and what your specialty is in the film and video space.
We’re Triada Studio, a Yerevan-based design and animation studio specializing in motion design, broadcast identity, and high-end CG for film, television, and digital. For over three decades, we’ve created spot campaigns, title sequences, broadcast design, game cinematics, and VFX for feature films for international brands and broadcasters – pairing concept-driven storytelling with rigorous craft. Our team of directors, CG supervisors, concept artists, animators, and 3D generalists delivers end-to-end solutions. Recent work includes an on-air news graphics package for the national broadcaster, Armenian Public Television, and design/animation projects with partners such as Riot Games, ESPN, Psyop, Fin Design, and others.
At our core, we solve communication problems visually – designing clear, memorable stories. During its 32 years, Triada Studio has earned many honors, including the Telly Awards, AEAF Awards, Creativepool Annual, Cyprus International Motion Festival, Pixel Festival Awards, and more.
Alongside creative services, Triada Studio also works in game development. In 2015, we launched Shadowmatic, a realistic 3D puzzle for iOS, tvOS, and Android, which has won numerous awards, including the Apple Design Award.
What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?
Our ethos is simple: stay honest to our vision, practice professionalism, and pursue meticulous craftsmanship.
How can people join or learn more about what you do?
What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?
Recently, we partnered again with a long-time collaborator, Armenian Public Television, continuing a relationship that spans many years.
The identity of the News Package for the Public Television of Armenia was developed as part of this long-term collaboration with the country’s national public broadcaster. As Armenia’s most prominent public media outlet, the channel sought to modernize its on-air presence while preserving the integrity and authority of its legacy.
The primary goal was to create a modern, cohesive visual identity for the news programming – fresh and contemporary, yet faithful to the broadcast’s tone. A key requirement was to avoid visual elements that could provoke anxiety or overdramatize the news, favoring a calm, confident aesthetic that communicates credibility, professionalism, and public trust. Our biggest challenge was to cut through hackneyed news-package tropes and deliver something fresh – while keeping the tone measured, clear, and trustworthy throughout the design.
Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?
Linger in the unknown just long enough to test options – clarity comes from comparison, not assumption.
Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.
Clean and effective work. The visuals and animation are subtle, which fits well for this type of show, it keeps the focus where it should be: on the content.
