What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?
My organization’s ethos are to create more Christian content and we’re different because we are actually the performers. We do EVERYTHING
How can people join or learn more about what you do?
All is welcome to email me. If they have a passion for film, music, storytelling, we would be glad to have them.
Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?
It’s a true to life documentary about my experience being in a car accident, having died, seeing God and coming back to life. Truly something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy but the experience of seeing God, I would LOVE for everyone to experience.
What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?
I’m glad that I was able to record the b-rolls as well as telling the story. Not many people take pleasure in hearing what’s beyond the living. There are many beliefs. Either you believe that we are really spirit and housed in our bodies or not. The biggest problem was actually going back to the locations to actually film it again but instead, we used true to life pictures and stock footage. It’s a promotional documentary video for my book entitled, “I Died and I Saw God As Told To Jean Givans,” which is out in book stores around the world. I want to give people an idea of what’s to come next. Turn it into a feature film and even episodes. I want the world to see it. I have a story to tell.
Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?
Fun fact, the b-rolls was filmed at my celebrity cousins house. R&B, Hall of Famer and Grammy nominated recording artist, Kenny Lattimore.
Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?
The response was overwhelming! So many people was so glad to hear about the after life that they told me people are beginning to make movies about it. They even said my six minute documentary touched their hearts and made them cry. Some even came to Jesus and picked up their Bibles again. Others started going back to church and connecting with their loved ones forming better relationships. For it is written, our life is but a vapor.

Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.
A mother from Argentina messaged me after watching the film at a local screening. She said it was the first time she felt “seen” in media as a parent of a nonverbal child. Her message read: “For the first time, I didn’t feel alone in the silence.” That hit me hard. It reminded me why I do this—and that art, when rooted in truth, really can reach across borders and hearts.
