Tell us a bit about your organization and what your specialty is in the film and video space.
I’m a content creator specialized in travel content around USA destinations. 90% of our videos are made with an iphone to make the content feel relatable enough while still looking more professionally made.
What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?
Our specialty is that we try to incentivize the tourism in USA. People thinks that there is nothing to see in United States and I think is one of the most diverse countries in its landscapes.
How can people join or learn more about what you do?
Following us on social media (Instagram, TikTok)
Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?
We did a piece for Expedia that has been one of our partners since 2022. We stayed in a Vrbo (a company under Expedia’s umbrella) to create a video to invite people to visit Destin Florida and stay in one of the Vrbo listings and created a cinematic video using only our iPhone.
What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?
The biggest challenge was the weather. It was pretty cloudy and the iPhone is not always super easy to get true colors when the sun is hidden.
Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?
Challenge yourself but never forget to have fun with it. That makes the best videos.
Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?
We had to bring friends to make the whole experience being seen on video and is so fun to see people try to act natural when you put a camera in front of them.
Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.
Expedia’s response of how many sales we drove because of this piece we made.
