How many years have you been a judge?

This is my first year!

What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

I worked for a podcast company called CastBox, where I started as an intern recording erotica for their late night channel. I quickly realized my talents were better used in other areas of the company, and re-wrote all of the copy within the app, took on a business development role, and helped open the company’s first US-based office in San Francisco as employee number 2. That job taught be everything I needed to know about flexibility and resilience, as well as helped hone my people skills from working with creators every day!

How do you unwind from work mode?

Cooking, pilates, and memes. I am a serial shitposter on IG – follow me for your daily curation of the best memes on the internet.

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

“I am part of the new Creator Marketing team at Patreon! I love working with creators to help bring their visions and goals to life, while helping them build and connect with their community.”

What initiatives or projects are you working on now that excite you?

“I’m currently part of a team of 3 folks on the Creator Marketing team, building out the first presence that we have at Patreon. I’m excited by the work I get to do with creators everyday, while establishing systems and processes that will serve as the foundation for future marketing endeavors at Patreon.”

What’s a work tool you use every day and what’s one that is obsolete that you wish still existed?

“Bring back Clippit the paper clip from Microsoft word PLEASE!!!”
