Sean Webster is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mac N Cheese Media, an award-winning, strategy-led video production company. With over a decade of experience producing commercials and branded content for national and regional brands, Sean specializes in helping organizations tell clear, compelling stories that build trust and drive results.

This is my first year!

What excited you about judging for the Telly Awards?

Being able to see what other creators are creating in my industry.

What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

Producer, the importance of prepro and how it shapes that final product.

What project are you most proud to have worked on?

One of our all-time favorites was working with The Harlem Globetrotters and Guinness to create a 21 attempt world record campaign.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

TBH, finding new clients is one of the most challenging parts of this industry.

What do you look for to determine excellence in video?

Clear messaging and great audio and visuals to deliver that message.

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

I’m a producer who also leads business development day to day, and on set I step into the role of art director. I enjoy taking what we’ve built on paper and bringing it to life through the final execution.

Do you have any specific practices you lean on to spark creativity?

As of now, one of the ways we’ve been doing this is leveraging AI tools.

What inspired you to pursue your career path?

The love of creating.

In your experience, what is a significant change you are seeing happen in the video, television, and/or film industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?

AI is a huge disruptor. Advice is to stay in the know, learn tools, and at least be aware of what changes are taking place and how it can benefit you to deliver better results.
