How many years have you been a judge?
This is my first year!
What project are you most proud to have worked on?
For both of my master’s degrees, my graduation theses reflected my deep interest in highlighting the contributions and legacy of women in the entertainment industry. During my Master’s in Fashion Marketing, I focused my thesis on Diane von Fürstenberg, someone I deeply admire, for her lasting impact on fashion and female empowerment. Later, while pursuing my Master’s in Spanish Journalism, I conducted an investigative project exploring the role of women in reggaeton and the Latin urban music scene, examining how their presence and influence have evolved within a historically male-dominated industry. I take pride in the fact that both of these academic projects celebrated the power and resilience of women across different cultural arenas.
How do you unwind from work mode?
Since last year, I’ve made a conscious effort to be more intentional with how I spend my time outside of work. Because my job requires me to be on my phone and online quite a bit, I’ve started focusing on activities that allow me to disconnect and recharge. I really enjoy going to ballet classes, reading, running, and spending quality time with my boyfriend and friends. These habits help me maintain a healthy balance and keep me energized both personally and professionally.
What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to create content. I feel very blessed to be in a role that allows me to connect with people, explore incredible beauty products, and develop fun, engaging content for different brands. I also genuinely love working with my team! It’s inspiring to be surrounded by brilliant, passionate, and creative people who truly love what they do.
