Started my career in Live Audio and then Skyline Productions as a hobby in 1991. Took Skyline full time in 1997 and never looked back. I have pretty much worked all positions from audio and Camera Op to post production. Now, my time is focused as a Producer and Truck Engineer for our live broadscasts.

The opportunity to see others work within the Industry
What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?
Live FOG A-1 Audio. Taught me Patience and the ability to trouble shoot as each venue was a new challenge
What project are you most proud to have worked on?
The Footprints of God, a (10) part documentary that took 20 years to compete taking our crew all over the World, including Israel, Iraq, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and more.
What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?
Keeping up on new equipment and educating our Clients
What do you look for to determine excellence in video?
Story telling and engaging the audience
What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?
Producer/Owner of Skyline. I love the opportunity to learn more about our clients and what they do and love. It’s an opportunity for on-going education adn learning.
What initiatives or projects are you working on now that excite you?
Sinners and Saints, An Award winning TV series now in its 3rd season, Just finished covering the IPSC Handgun Competition streaming live from South Africa. Was a first for this organization.
Do you have any specific practices you lean on to spark creativity?
I run weekly to clear my head, and give me a space to think
What inspired you to pursue your career path?
I have had many talented mentors over the years that encouraged me to branch out, take a risk and be bold.
In your experience, what is a significant change you are seeing happen in the video, television, and/or film industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?
Honestly, the dumbing down of it due to streaming platforms. Everything seems to be acceptable these days. It’s really all about educating the clients and learning more about their project, audience and goals
