What was your first job in the industry? What did it teach you?

A booking agent and manager for Jazz and Swing artists in NYC. Have no fear, just keep putting yourself out there. Confident is everything!

What project are you most proud to have worked on?

That’s a tough question. I am proud of a lot of projects we have worked on.

What’s the most challenging part about your job and/or the industry?

The industry is always changing and you must adapt quickly

How do you unwind from work mode?

Wine tasting, painting, hiking, kayaking, hanging with my friends, walking my dog, and yes listening to music even though that’s what I do all day.

What do you look for to determine excellence in video?

Beautiful footage, good music and interesting story lines

Journaling every day. Staying focused. Listening to good music!

What are your current roles and responsibilities and what do you love most about your job?

Responsible for licensing TMP artists for all media. When we land a good placement for an artist!

When did you know that this career is what you wanted to do?

It just clicked. I enjoy the work and became successful

What inspired you to join the field and create the kind of work you do?

A friend introduced me to the world of sync and music publishing.

What’s a work tool you use every day and what’s one that is obsolete that you wish still existed?

Salesforce and disco.

In your experience, what is a significant change happening in the video and television industry, and what insight can you share about how to navigate it?

The strike has hurt the industry deeply and many have not recovered. Staying flexible with our clients.
