Tell us a bit about your organization and what your specialty is in the film and video space.

I am a freelancer that specializes in higher education video content.

What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?

At the core of my work is the belief that storytelling is most powerful when it feels both authentic and cinematic. Whether I’m producing a documentary, a corporate film, or a branded piece, I approach every project with the same ethos: to create content that feels meaningful, visually engaging, and human.

Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?

I created a video for Princeton Seminarys upcoming anniversary for their Farminary. The school wanted to show case what a farminary is, why its important, how it connects students to God and what exciting things they have for their event.

What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?

I am most proud about how the video really makes you feel connected to the earth. I think in a way it’s a comforting piece about nature. Capturing good audio was the biggest production challenge because of high wind speeds. We ended up having to bring our boom mic almost right on top of the subjects to really capture good audio.

Do you have any advice to other filmmakers based on your career or your team’s approach to work?

It is not about who you know, but who knows you. I have lived by this philosophy and has done wonders for my freelance work.

Can you share a behind the scenes story or fun fact about the making of your piece?

It was so windy the day of production that are big flag to cover some sunlight kept falling over! This is why I prefer to be filming indoors 🙂

Tell us about the most memorable response you got from this work.

The client was absolutely thrilled with the project and winning the silver Telly really cemented it.
