Tell us a bit about your organization and what your specialty is in the film and video space.

Redbear is an Emmy Award-winning hybrid production company and digital agency. We’ve made everything from TV shows (Con Man with Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk) to commercials for Shell.

What is your organization’s ethos and how does it set you apart from industry competitors?

Red Bear Films’ ethos is rooted in storytelling with purpose. What sets the company apart is not just our Emmy-winning creative output, but the way we merge cinematic craft with strategic communication. We’re not a traditional production house that only delivers polished visuals, nor a marketing agency that only delivers strategy. We are a hybrid — filmmakers, marketers, and communicators under one roof — who approach every project with the belief that narratives drive impact.

Tell us about your Telly Award winning piece. What’s the story behind it?

We have won several Tellys across various projects — from our work in the gaming industry with Retro Replay to our recent win for Tapping In. The host of the show is the CEO’s wife, Marisa Grieco and he did not tell her he had entered the show. He surprised her and her producer in the studio when they won.

What are you most proud of about this piece? What was your biggest challenge during production and how did you solve it?

With Tapping In, our proudest achievement is keeping the mystical grounded. The show explores big, ethereal ideas — energy, intuition, even life after death — but we worked hard to anchor every episode in reality with practical tools viewers can use right away.

The toughest challenge was walking that line: keeping the magic without losing the audience in the clouds. We solved it by always asking, “How does this help someone at home?” Paired with a smart production workflow that gave us both cinematic quality and consistent output, Tapping In found its balance — spiritual yet usable, inspiring yet real.
