Season 47 Highlights

  • The 47th Annual Telly Awards season theme is “Capture the Original.”
  • New categories this year include Animation, Generative AI, Digital Out-of-Home, and Vertical Video. 
  • New jurors this year include Tamara Kruger(Head of Creator Strategy and Content, YouTube), Steve Eddy (Director of Production, Netflix), Farra Kober (VP Content, BBC Storyworks), Cristóbal Valenzuela (Co-Founder and CEO, RunwayML), Warren Cohen (VP, Head of Video and Audio, New York Post) and David E. Cid (Head of Experiential Marketing, Remezcla) among many others
  • Our programming includes a our virtual and in-person conversation series “Throughlines” to explore trends across social, brand and production.
  • New partners include Animation World Network (AWN), Skwigly, VIEW Conference, and London ACM SIGGRAPH. Each of these organizations works to connect filmmakers and brands across the industry with funding, community and distribution opportunities.

  • In addition to the award program, the Telly Awards hosts year-long programming. The Telly Awards presents ‘Throughlines’, our conversation series, that taps into the Telly’s unique position as a connector across verticals to explore trending topics. Hot Takes, our original video series, features unfiltered, unrehearsed responses to hot-button topics. Our global screening series is a touring industry event where large corporate agencies and small, independent creators and production companies come together each season to screen excellent short-form work we curate from our winners, partners and judges.
  • The Telly Awards is based in NYC and its Managing Director is Amanda Needham.
