March 21st: LinkedIn Live with Amanda Brinkman (Virtual)

Take a look at our Behind the Scenes conversation with filmmaker Amanda Brinkman as we discuss social advocacy and direct impact production methods in her his series, Small Business Revolution. Amanda Brinkman is a producer, filmmaker, branding expert and sought-after public speaker, sharing her “Do Well By Doing Good” philosophy on stages around the country. She demonstrates how both companies and individuals can make a meaningful and positive difference in people’s lives, while fostering their own success in the process. She believes that companies must not only identify their brand purpose.

 

March 19: Impact First Storytelling in Film (DC)

The Telly Awards and National Geographic Impact Story Lab and the Video Consortium had a behind the scenes look at building, executing and messaging for impact in a feature length documentary film. The event featured Directors Sarah Joseph and Ray Whitehouse in conversation about building an integrated impact film from process through post-production. The evening weaved scenes, shorts, and insights into a frank discussion about going beyond the frame of traditional film for impact.

Year after year, the Telly Awards global screening series is the highlight of our community event offerings. Our screenings are where large corporate agencies and small, independent creators and production companies come together to screen the most excellent short-form work we’ve seen, followed by an industry happy hour. This year, programming will feature amazing shorts like “Generation” by Riccardo Fusetti (2:13), “Creativity,” by Rascal Post for V&A Museum (2:11), “MerPeople,” by Scout Productions (2:25) and many more.

Jan 11: Behind The Scenes with David Clark

Check out our Behind the Scenes conversation with filmmaker David Clark, who recently created an AI-generated spec commercial for Adidas that sparked significant conversation on social media. Dec 11: Telly Judge Holiday Happy Hour

The Telly Awards held a Holiday Happy Hour for our Telly Judges and Entrants! Hosted by the amazing team at Heard City, a boutique audio post-production facility, the evening will feature hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, music and conversation. 

Oct 25: The Tellys at NAB Show NYC

The Telly Awards hosted an exclusive panel event at this year’s NAB Show New York with our sustainability partners, Green the Bid. Ben Golub (CEO, Storj), Becky Morrison (CEO + Founder, The Light), Gloria Pitagorsky (Managing Partner, Heard City) and Tellys Managing Director Amanda Needham discussed how the industry can move towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Nov 12: The Telly’s Fireside Chat with Liz Hynes
