The theme of this year’s Tellys is how you Capture the Original creativity that drives your work forward through transformative developments across media, and our exclusive pool of Judges has been built and expanded to best assess the myriad ways that you, your teams, and your organizations are doing just that. Our Season 47 roster brings a diverse array of expertise from leaders pushing our industry forward, and includes new voices from YouTube, Legendary Entertainment, IMAX, HBO and more, like Steve Eddy, Director of Production at Netflix, and Farra Kober, VP of Content at BBC Storyworks.

The Telly Awards Judging Council is unique among awards programs for how it represents the industry as a whole. Like our categories, judges come from all corners of the media landscape, from social-media creators to network executives, and from branded-content storytellers to producers, directors, entrepreneurs, and more. Perhaps most importantly, all of them use a detailed rubric that levels our multi-faceted playing field, to ensure everyone competing in the Tellys gets a fair shot based on the quality of their work alone.

Beyond our main competition, The People’s Telly Awards offer a chance at additional recognition from our massive global audience across categories. Work entered for People’s Tellys gets shortlisted by our Judging Council, then added to our public voting platform, which offers incredible visibility among the thousands of connected, opinionated, and passionate professionals in our worldwide community. Interested in even more exposure for work with critical messaging, or in having your TikTok or XR content go up against network shows and global agencies for best directing, editing, micro-budget and other superlatives? Make sure to enter The People’s Tellys.

Finally, one lucky organization with the most Gold, Silver and Bronze awards across categories will be named Company of the Year, the Telly’s highest distinction. We’re also bringing back the Production Company of the Year award, which we introduced last season. It goes to the production house with the most success across all media types, regardless of size or name recognition.
