Welcome to the 47th Annual Telly Awards, where we honor excellence in video and television across all screens. This year, we’re celebrating how you Capture the Original inspiration at your creative core, while seizing the limitless potential of the current moment.

This season, we’re reflecting today’s evolving media landscape with new Generative AI, Digital Out-of-Home, and Creator categories, including Vertical Video, and we’re welcoming Animation as a standalone vertical for the first time. In addition to new judges from organizations like YouTube, Netflix, the WNBA, IMAX, the New York Post, and HBO, we’ve queued up a bunch of updated programming to feature how leaders across disciplines are reacting to, and taking advantage of, today’s opportunities.

Here’s a quick overview of the conversations, live events, and short-form video you’ll find on our new Events Hub and Features Page:

Throughlines is our conversation series that taps into the Telly’s broad industry perspective to explore trending topics. This year, they’ll cover building a women’s sports brand with Gotham FC, the latest in vertical video series with microdrama pioneer ReelShorts, and music video production with Six Twenty Six, the partners behind Megan Thee Stallion’s Telly-Award-winning “BOA” music video, and more.

Our global screenings are where our community of producers and creators come together to screen excellent work across animation, short docs, comedy and more. This year kicks off in NYC on Wednesday, November 12th, then heads to cities across the country, including DC, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago and LA.

Hot Takes, our candid video series, returns for its sixth season on October 28th, with unfiltered insights on trending topics from Kamala Harris’ official White House videographer, the head of the New York Post’s pioneering content studio, and the CEO of Mad Realities, the company shaping the future of TV for Gens Z and Alpha.
