| Biography: |
Billy Frank is the multiple award-winning Producer behind the successful boutique production company Make It Happen Productions, which he founded in 1994. His success comes from a blend of passion for the business, years of strong relationships, and the basic foundation his grandfather taught him: “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.”
Instilled with the philosophy that personal independence was a necessity, Billy set on a path that would eventually motivate him to start a full service production entity.
Billy started his career at ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers), educating the public on issues of copyright infringement and protection. Soon after, he moved to Dick Clark Productions where he headed the music department and worked on prestigious shows like “American Bandstand" and “TV’s Bloopers and Practical Jokes.”
Billy was increasingly fascinated with the endless possibilities in the entertainment industry, leading him to stints as a set dresser, production manager, and even as casting director. With a little creative license, Billy adopted his grandfather’s credo as his own and paved his own road to success in the entertainment industry.
Billy founded Make It Happen Productions and before long was producing alongside some of the biggest names in the business. He has traveled the world for an international launch campaign for the 2000 Olympic Games, worked with CBS’s Les Moonves to create a Survivor spoof that helped sell the show to multi-million dollar advertisers, and executive produced the current main opening titles for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Recently, Billy has produced branding work for Ford, Verizon, Warner Bros. International, and other Fortune 500 companies, and has been at the forefront of integrated marketing.
Now a successful Executive and Creative Producer, Billy is sharing with the next generation not only how to make it in film and television, but empowering them to do it for themselves as an Adjunct Professor for Carnegie Mellon University in the Heinz School’s Master of Entertainment Industry Management Program
Billy resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Antoinette, and their daughter, Rylie.
