As a Brown University graduate, Everett produced films on the East coast for seven years before returning to his hometown, Houston TX, to open South Coast Film and Video in 1979. He's been awarded national grants for various film projects and still serves on advisory boards for college film and video departments. Having shot and directed hundreds of commercials, documentaries, and corporate programs, first and foremost, Everett is a "people person."
