| Biography: |
Libby Bolling has worked in the field of television and video production since 1979, starting her career as an On-Air Technical Director with WGTV Athens/Atlanta. Since then, Bolling has held positions producing, directing and editing and currently serves as a producer, reporter and writer for Pinellas County Communications and PCC-TV, Pinellas County's government channel. She has attained numerous awards throughout her career including a Silver Telly Award for producing "Course of Action, " a real-time hurricane exercise with decision-makers from local and state government and the media, and 3 Bronze Telly Awards for various cultural programs and news-style features. Additionally, she has received a National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Regional Emmy nomination for producing "The 14th Annual Pinellas Folk Festival," a two-part series of programs featuring folk music set against the backdrop of Pinellas County's Heritage Village, a living history museum. Bolling continues to innovate new methods to deliver communications to the public via web and cable, most-notably her inventive eTownHall format that combines live video event delivery with a blog component, allowing citizens to interact with their government officials in a virtual web environment. The eTownHall format has already won Pinellas County two awards in 2011. "eTownHall: Surviving the Storm 2010" will be awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award from the 2011 National Hurricane Conference and "Pinellas County's Transportation eTownHall: On-Line and On-Call" will be awarded a Future of the Region Award from the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council.
