| Biography: |
Stuart Craig Smith, is a multiple-EMMY award winning television producer whose work has been recognized by The National Academy of the Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), the American Film Institute, the annual TELLY competition for television & film, the New York Television & Film Festival, and various other film, TV and media competitions. His documentary production of The Poverty Trap was also accepted for consideration by the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, while his production of the regional television program, First Tuesday, was included as part of AFI’s national traveling exhibition of outstanding public issues programming.
He is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (aka the National Television Academy), has served twice on the Board of Governors of NATAS/Southwest Region, is a member of the National Telly Competition Silver Council, and serves on various boards and advisory councils.
In addition to his skills as a television producer, he is also a national award winning journalist and author, syndicated columnist, freelance writer and former university lecturer in the field of economics. He has also received certification from the Center for Effective Performance, as a member of the American Honda instructional design team. He is a frequent contributor to various online information sites, and is currently developing a book series entitled Leaps of Faith: The Jesse Foster Chronicles.
He has been included for recognition in Who’s Who in the West, Who’s Who in Entertainment, and International Personalities.
