Jim Thompson has produced hundreds of hours of programming for local television stations and national networks. He has served as Producer, Writer, and/or Director on projects that include movies for television, daily and weekly television and cable series, corporate films, and educational videos. His productions have been honored with a Prime-Time Emmy Award, two Regional Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, a Humanitas Prize, two CINE Golden Eagles, a Golden Globe nomination, and awards from the Telly, Aegis, Aurora, Communicator, Videographer, Hermes, and DV awards competitions. Jim is a member of the Directors Guild of American and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
