Kevin Martorana is a nationally recognized director of photography and director of broadcast, corporate and commercial programs.
Recently he received an Emmy nomination for the documentary "A Pioneer in Television History: 60 Years of WGAL"
He was also acknowledged as one of the “Top 100 Producers” in the November 2003 issue of AV Video/Multimedia Producer.
A 1983 graduate of Kutztown State College, Kevin launched his career at NBC affiliate WGAL-TV8 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was promoted rapidly from college intern to producer/videographer/editor for the PM Magazine show.
In 1984, Kevin left to form Take One Productions, Inc. He began by producing segments for large production companies that were selling shows to the networks. He then began producing corporate videos for local and national clients.
Kevin has won numerous Addy Awards, Telly Awards and local awards for his commercials and documentaries. His productions have featured notable personalities such as Charleton Heston, Richard Harris, John Stamos, Jim Varney, Heather Locklear, and Neal Armstrong.
In recent years, Kevin has been utilizing the newest available equipment for digital cinematography used by ad agencies and clients. He was working with the 24p CineAlta only a few months after it was available from Sony.
Kevin’s work has been featured throughout the entire US. He’s traveled to Europe and Russia producing videos, documentaries and commercials. Kevin has produced work for ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, HBO, VH1 and many others.
