For over 25 years, Arnold J. Foote (J.J.) has been deeply entrenched in one of Jamaica’s leading advertising agencies, Advertising & Marketing (Ja.) Ltd. (AdMark). He has served the agency in many different capacities including Account Executive, Media Manager, Art Director, Senior Art Director, Senior TV Editor, Chief Strategist, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Executive Officer. His unique skill set has been further strengthened by the addition of Professional Certifications from Apple Inc. for their Final Cut Pro editing suite and from AVID, the world’s standard for cinema and video editing production.
J.J. is not only a seasoned Editor, he is quite an experienced Director, Producer and Cinematographer; having written, produced, directed and edited 95% of the AdMark commercial productions over the past 25 years. He has led the AdMark creative team to many successes over his career and won several awards on behalf of the AdMark agency. The most recent international successes were in 2011 and 2012 where his creative and technical work copped 30 Telly Awards for television advertising creative and technical excellence, including four (4) prestigious Silver Telly Awards. He has served as the President of the Advertising Agencies Association of Jamaica for three (3) consecutive terms and is that association’s current President. He is also the President of the Jamaican arm of the Final Cut Pro User Group, which is an association of the most skilled talent in the country. Arnold has served Commissioner of the Jamaica Amateur Softball Association, been a member of the International Softball Federation. He is a former swimming national record holder and has represented Jamaica on the National swimming and water polo teams. He is married with three children.
