In his 35-year career with F∙E∙G∙S, Marvin Sperling has helped create and nurture the public image of F∙E∙G∙S, one of the largest and most well respected health and human services organizations in the United States. Sperling is responsible for the branding, design, development, and production of all of the Agency’s public information materials – print, video, broadcast, and web.
As an award-winning designer, art director, and producer – including multiple Telly, Davey, Communicator, and AIGA Awards – Sperling says that working for a nonprofit organization, with its necessary budgetary constraints, has helped spark more creative ways to tell stories. “Always remember that, no matter what your message is, the bottom line is that you must inspire each person who reads or views your work to think and to take a positive action,” he says. “Ultimately, the mission of everyone who works in this field is to bring about positive change.”
