| Biography: |
Michael Murray started his career in television as director at a CBS affiliate. After four years, he moved to Young and Rubicam as a producer/director, including film and commercial projects and all aspects of music recording. While at Young & Rubicam, Murray had the opportunity to work in cities such as Nashville, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. Throughout his decade and a half in the agency business, he worked with clients ranging from Eli Lilly to the Buffalo Bills.
In 1994, Murray left the agency to head the multimedia division of AT&T/NCR in Dayton, Ohio. As their Creative Director, he oversaw one of the world’s largest private satellite networks and directed a staff of ten full-time producers and numerous freelance producers. Then as Vice President of AT&T/NCR’s multimedia division, Murray concentrated on business-to-business communications; writing, producing and directing for clients including Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Intel and Oracle. With shooting credits in Europe and Asia and live international broadcasts from locations as diverse as Bentonville, Arkansas to Tokyo, Japan, his work has been seen in over 150 countries by satellite.
Murray founded Murray Multimedia Resources, LLC in February of 1998. Always an avid photographer, Murray’s corporate photography work added to his love of directing and producing, providing full multimedia solutions for his clients. According to Murray, “MMR delivers L.A. production quality at local prices …clients truly benefit from my years of experience combined with the new technologies.”
MMR has grown along with many of its clients: Sasha Corporation, Professional Case, Dell, First Financial Bank, and Otterbein Retirement Communities. In the past four years, MMR has gained national recognition along with their clients. The Community Foundation of West Chester Liberty, Butler County United Way and Butler Technology and Career Development Schools, were the subjects of his Telly Award winning work. Most recently, Murray has received a national Mature Marketing Award for a video produced for Otterbein Retirement Living Communities.
Murray volunteers at Faith Community United Methodist and for the Butler County United Way. He holds Board positions for the Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and SEBC Leadership 21 Alumni Association.
