Marc Marriott is an award-winning producer/director of television and film.
He has built his career emphasizing real people in extraordinary situations; from the dangerous world of logging in History Channel’s “Ax Men,” to the high-octane world of NASCAR racing in Discovery Channel’s “Roush Racing: Driver X.” He has been a Series producer and Director on television programs for the History Channel, The Discovery Channel, FOX, VH1, TLC, and The Travel Channel. Mr. Marriott has translated the skills developed in directing and producing hit Television series into producing corporate and industrial video productions for clients such as The Chevron Corporation and Continuing Life Communities.
Further expanding his reach into new media he has produced Webisode Series for AOL Corporation with high profile talent such as HGTV Star Eric Stromer, TLC Chef Curtis Stone, and HGTV designer Kelly Edwards.
Marc Marriott is a graduate of the Masters directing program at UCLA. From the time that his first film, Short Order, won the “Prix Canal Plus” at the Henri Langlois International Film Festival in France, to his appearance at the Cannes film festival with his film, The Snow Child, Marriott has garnered an impressive number of festival appearances and awards. His films have appeared in over 21 international film festivals. He has received The Independent Film Channel Award, A Collegiate Emmy Award, and the Jimmy Stewart Crystal Heart Award from the Heartland Film Festival. At UCLA he was the recipient of the James Bridges Award in Film Directing, the largest film award given by the graduate film program.
