Aaron Hosé
Producer/Director/Editor
Aaron Hosé is an Emmy Award-winning producer whose work has been recognized both nationally and internationally. Born in Texas in 1975 and raised in Aruba, he developed a passion for culture and creativity from a very young age. He is a graduate of the Valencia College Film Technology Program, and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal & Cinema Studies from the University of Central Florida.
From 2003 to 2004, Aaron worked as a segment producer for the Dutch TV program Frame, for which he created Frame Goes U.S.A. The series focused on college experiences of Dutch Caribbean students in the Unites States, and was broadcast in Aruba and the Netherlands.
As a freelance producer, Aaron manages and coordinates all areas of production, and works directly with production boutiques and ad agencies. His clients include the American Automobile Association, University of Florida, PGA Tour Shops, United Way, Prentice Hall, and Florida Hospital. Aaron has received multiple Telly, Addy and Aurora Awards for producing, editing and videoography.
In 2004, Aaron traveled to Taiwan to direct Voices in the Clouds, a feature-length documentary produced under the aegis of the Taiwanese Indigenous Cultural Enterprise Development Association (TICEDA), with support from the Taiwanese United Fund. 'Voices' is currently in post-production.
While in Taiwan, Aaron also photographed many of the indigenous Taiwanese subjects he encountered. These series of photographs, titled Time in a Disappearing World, premiered at Walt Disney World in 2005 and have since been featured at numerous art shows and galleries across Florida, with more exhibitions planned throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
As a Media Coordinator for the University of Central Florida, Aaron currently develops and produces original programming for the web, on-demand video, and television broadcast on Bright House Networks. His arts education series for UCFTV, The Gallery, earned him a 2008 Suncoast Emmy Award.
